John Cummins is Chair of Cassi. He is a senior treasury, risk and investment leader, formerly Group Treasurer at RBS and later a Managing Director at Legal & General Capital, where he led urban regeneration and clean-energy investing. He went on to serve as CEO of Aviva Capital Partners, Aviva’s direct investment business. John has also served as an Independent Non-Executive Director at Absa Group, including as Chair of its Models Committee. He is now Senior Adviser for Treasury Risk and Capital Markets at the Defence, Security & Resilience Bank (DSR Bank).
